Dr. Rachel Jarrett is a native of Blairsville and has always had a love for "small town medicine".
Most of her family is in the medical field, but she chose to love on animals instead!
Dr. Jarrett attended Berry College in Rome, GA where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. After completion of her undergraduate degree, she went on to attend The University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Jarrett's favorite topics to discuss with her clients are weight management, allergies, and preventive medicine.
At home, she enjoys spending most of her time with her high school sweetheart Justin, her 2 daughters, Julia and Sophia, and 2 rescue Poodles, Ben and Bonnie.
Her favorite thing about working at Blairsville Animal Hospital is being able to build relationships with clients and their pets. "I love being part of the team to keep our pets healthy and happy."
